about

The second punk movement took the I don't care-attitude from the first punk movement and turned it into a fatalistic view in the shadow of the cold war. No wonder with Reagan as president of the USA, and Thatcher as prime minister in the UK. We weren't any different. The intro is us trying to play reggae like the first reggae-band from our home town, and also a favourite of ours, Grassroots. Later on our home town was going to get so many reggae bands that it soon would be called the capital of reggae in Sweden.

lyrics

1984 (Reality Today)
So the governments they come and go
So what the fuck, it's the same show
So many people blinded by their lies
They haven't seen the reality of today

So the future is an unwritten story
But it's got the power and it's got the glory
I ain't got no future and it's the same for you
So why don't you fuck off, fuck you

Before it was 83, now it's 84
What the fuck I'm living for?
I ain't got no future and it's the same for you
But what the fuck can we do?

Chorus:
1981 wasn't that fun
1982 not a shit for me and you
1983 what's it gonna be in 1984?
Is it worth living for?

The future is an unwritten story
But it's got the power and it's got the glory
It's our future which we ain't control
People in misery and people on the dole

Chorus:

The cold war is here to stay - reality today!
And it's always gonna be that way - reality today!
Until hell break loose - reality today!
It's up to us so you'd better choose - reality today!

So the governments they come and go
So what the fuck, it's the same show
So many people blinded by their lies
They haven't seen the reality of today

Chorus:
