about

Speaking about covers. We did a lot of playing, which meant mainly rehearsing. Not much else to do in Landskrona, not much else we wanted to do. Except for the drugs. Later on the drugs would also take the upper hand on us and the partying became more important than the playing, and the gigs just another party. But 'til then our focus was on playing. And we could only do so many songs of our own, so we also played covers. And it became a lot of covers. Covers we played at certain gigs like in Ultrahuset in Stockholm, playing alone, to fill up the set. We could go on for hours. Sometimes playing songs over and over again. We played UK Subs (Emotional Blackmail, Telephone Numbers, Left for Dead, Party in Paris, Warhead, Tomorrow's Girls), Wayne County (Night Time), Sex Pistols (Satellite, Did You No Wrong), The Vibrators (24 Hour People, She's Bringing You Down), the Swedish rocker Kal P Dal (Alrajt nu, Rocka maj, Om jag va en slashas), the Whos My Generation with New York Dolls Stranded in the Jungle in the middle, TST (No Government), UK Subs version of Velvet Undergrounds Waiting for my Man, The Rezillos version of Fleetwood Macs Somebody's Gonna Get their Heads Kicked in Tonight, The Rolling Stones (Satisfaction), The Clash (Garageland), Slaughter and the Dogs (Bitch), Sex Pistols version of the Monkees Stepping Stone, The Stooges (I Wanna Be Your Dog), and Stiff Little Fingers (Breakout).
